FAQS

Lubrication is one of the most important (and often missed) factors for the successful operation of a pump. By lubricating and thus separating moving parts such as bearings, lubrication minimizes the friction that causes wear and tear.

Positive displacement pumps

Oil & Grease Pumps are a class of positive displacement pumps that are designed to handle automotive and equipment fluid pumping requirements including oil and grease in industrial environments.

Rotary lobe pumps are positive-displacement type pumps that use two or more lobes rotating around parallel shafts in the pump’s body to move liquids. They are widely used in the hygienic processing industries, including food & beverage processing and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Some of the most common pump types used are centrifugal pumps, peristaltic pumps, gear pumps and progressive cavity pumps. These pump types offer many different benefits for the oil industry and the versatility to pump both industrial and hygienic oil substances.

Lube pump. The oil pump is usually gear driven from the crankshaft so that it will start pumping oil immediately on start-up of the compressor. In compressors that work in an oil-free system, oil injectors are not used.

Engine sludge, which is usually a combination of dirt, contamination and old engine oil is highly damaging to a car’s mechanical parts, restricting normal oil flow and causing friction and heat build-up, both of which can lead to oil pump failure.
